This tour starts from 08.30 morning depart from your hotel
and go direct to see Performance of the Barong and Kris dance
which is performed every morning at Batubulan Village, it
is one of the best known and loved. The story is about the
eternal fight between good and evil: the evil Rangda (a mythological
monster) battling with the good Barong (a mythological lion).
After the show, continue to Bedulu to see the elephant cave
and the real highlight of the day "Kintamani", perched dramatically
on top of the crater rim of Mount Batur Volcano, where you
will have breathtaking views of the crater, lake, lava flows,
and volcanic peaks. Enroute pass through many of Bali's famous
handicraft villages such as Mas for woodcarving, beautiful
Ubud for paintings, Celuk for intricate gold and silverware,
or perhaps a batik factory for some lovely locally made fabric.
Your return journey will take you off the beaten track past
beautiful countryside, temples and terraced rice field. Highly
recommended.
Barong & Keris Dance the most famous and colorful dance in Bali which
signifies an eternal fight between good & evil spirits, performed
dozens of professional dancers.
Celuk Village famous for its filigree silver and gold works affordable
at a very reasonable price.
Mas Village the home of Bali's talented woodcarvers. After seeing
them chipping an intricate design out of a piece of wood-teakwood,
mahogany, ebony, sandalwood, hibiscus, there will be an opportunity
for you to have a closer look into their gallery.
Elephant Cave
dated back to the 11th century, this mysterious cave used
to be naturally buried intact for centuries before finally
excavated in 1954
Kintamani said to be the best view in Bali over a magnificent
massive crater with smoky Mount Batur in the middle & simmering
Lake Batur nearby. You Lunch will be served here in a restaurant
built about 400 meters above the bottom of the crater.
Holy Spring Temple (tampaksiring):
in the middle of this beautiful temple, there is lies a holy
spring welling up the ground which is believed to possess
a magical power to keep you young. Visit also one of Balinese
house compound on the way back to your hotel.
